Pick from our durable transparent Perlon (polyamide) cord that is strong or the smooth steel wire to hold your rock-climbing line up to 20kg, and make sure it works with 2mm hooks. The extra length can be rolled up and hidden behind the artwork so no messy strands are visible to maintain your living space’s aesthetic. Cutting Perlon cords to a shorter length can be easily done with a sharp utility knife, scissors, or side cutters. Since improper cutting of steel wires can cause them to fray, it’s best not to do it and use safe and proper techniques.

Just ensure the total weight on all the hooks and artworks doesn’t go beyond the allowed limit on every cord. When you have strong or heavy frames, it’s best to use two cords and hooks for better support. 

Traditional hooks catch on Perlon, while self-locking models are recommended with steel wires to stop the kinds of wear that manual screws can cause.
