Artiteq Tilt Reducer

A picture hanging system is an innovative and robust solution for displaying paintings, frames, and various wall decorations in settings such as museums, galleries, exhibition halls, classrooms, office buildings, or even your own home. While using a picture hanging system, you may notice that lighter or smaller frames can occasionally tilt forward. In many museums, this slight tilt is often considered unobtrusive. However, in home or office environments, this may not always be the case.

To offer a solution, Artiteq has introduced the Tilt Reducer. This ingenious device ensures that frames and artwork hung on a picture hanging system remain more stable and do less tilt forward, allowing your artwork to sit flatter against the wall. The Tilt Reducer is easily affixed to the top of a wooden frame, either individually or as a pair, aligned with the hanging point of the hook or hooks. It performs best on frames with a backing that is at least 10mm high and a thickness of 12mm or more. By attaching the Tilt Reducer to the top of the frame, it gently draws the top closer to the wall, enhancing stability. The Tilt Reducer is compatible with both 1mm and 2mm thick hanging wires, which can be perfectly aligned thanks to various groove marks.
